BIBLE PREACHING SOULWINNING WORLDWIDE MISSIONS REACHING TERRE HAUTE
It was over fifty years ago that a group of seventeen believers founded Bible Baptist Church of Terre Haute, Indiana. With a vision rooted in the Word of God and its authority, and a goal to be a lighthouse to both Terre Haute and the world, this church was established on October 20, 1963, in a rented building on College Avenue.
The present structure, located on the corner of 25th and Margaret, was completed in 1968 then later expanded. Terre Haute Christian School, now Bible Baptist Academy, offers grades pre-school through twelfth grade and was established in 1974.
As our church and ministries have grown, so has our need for classroom space. In April of 2022, we celebrated a momentous occasion in our church’s history as we broke ground on a new addition. The new addition will allow us to expand our Sunday School classes and our academy. It will connect the current building with the gym.
Exciting days are ahead! We pray that God will continue to use Bible Baptist Church to reach many people with the Gospel and to train the next generation of Christian leaders.
